Position Title: Finance Officer

Position Title: Finance Officer

Key Accountabilities:

  • Verify the accuracy of invoices and other applicable accounting documents or records and ensure appropriate level of authorisation and accurate general ledger / cost centre coding
  • Verify suppliers’ and service providers’ accounts by reconciling statements and related transactions.
  • Posting of purchases invoices/ credit notes.
  • Maintain regular communication with suppliers and service providers.
  • Issuing of intercompany sales invoices.
  • Handle payments in an organised and timely manner within permitted credit criteria.
  • Posting of petty cash and bank transactions.
  • Allocation of payments.
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts and provide the month end reporting.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • “A” Level in Accounts or
  • Initial stages of ACCA accreditation

Minimum Experience:

  • 2+ years of current experience in a finance department handling multiple currency and medium complexity transactions preferably with some experience in an aviation related business.
  • Previous experience using accounting software packages; Sage, Quick Books / MS Dynamics (or equivalent)
  • Methodical and accurate approach to tasks
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines

Position Title: CAMO Engineer

Position Title: CAMO Engineer

Job Purpose:

The CAMO engineer shall be responsible for ensuring the continuing airworthiness of the ALE fleet by managing day to day activities in terms of technical support to flight crew, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance planning, and managing of technical records i.a.w. PART CAMO requirements

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure compliance of continuous airworthiness of the ALE fleet i.a.w. Part CAMO requirements
  • Development and amendment of ALE maintenance programmes
  • Checking and updating of post-flight techlogs
  • Management and archiving of all continuing airworthiness records
  • Co-ordination with flight operations to ensure that they have the required maintenance status for flight scheduling purposes.
  • Organising all scheduled and unscheduled line and base maintenance on ALE Aircraft as required for the safe operation of flights
  • Ensure that all maintenance is carried out in accordance with the approved maintenance programme for that aircraft and is released in accordance with (EU) No 1321/2014, annex II (Part 145).
  • Ensure that all defects reported or discovered during maintenance are corrected by an appropriately approved maintenance organization
  •  Ensuring that defect rectifications are to an approved standard or are deferred i.a.w. the MEL / CDL requirements and that no postponement of such a defect is done unless in accordance with an approved procedure.
  • Ensure that the mass and balance statement reflects the current status of the aircraft.
  • Evaluation and scheduling of Airworthiness Directives and any other continued airworthiness requirements such as: CMR’s, Life limited Parts, Airworthiness Limitations, etc.
  • Evaluation and scheduling of non-mandatory modifications issued by the aircraft, engine, and component OEMs
  • Management and supervision of maintenance inputs
  • Correction of Audit findings as required
  • Assist in the gathering of data required for the effectiveness and reliability analysis of the aircraft.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • An engineering or aeronautical degree or an Aircraft Maintenance License, B1,B2,C
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of EASA regulations including: Part 145 and Part CAMO

Minimum Experience:

  • 2years experience in a similar CAMO role or 5 years experience in a Part 145 organisation

Position Title: CAMO Engineer

Position Title:Safety & Compliance Monitoring Manager – SCMM

Job Purpose:

The SCMM is nominated by the Accountable Manager and is responsible for the development, administration and maintenance of an effective management system, while being the focal point for Safety and Compliance Management. His role is to ensure that the activities of Alliance Executive Jets under the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) approvals held are monitored for safety and compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements, together with any additional requirements established Alliance Executive Jets, and that these activities are being conducted properly under the supervision of the relevant nominated person. However, he is independent from the applicable responsible persons and solely responsible to the Accountable Manager.

He has direct access to the Accountable Manager as well as all nominated persons. He is able to demonstrate relevant knowledge, background and appropriate experience related to the activities of the operator in general and specifically in Safety and Compliance Monitoring. The SCMM is a Safety Review Board member and has access to those parts of Alliance Executive Jets and, as necessary, any subcontractor’s organisation that are of direct relevance to operation and airworthiness of aircraft, training of personnel and or safe and secure operation.

Key Accountabilities

  • Facilitates and conducts hazard identification, risk analysis/risk assessments on new developments, procedures, processes, areas and airports of operation and suggests risk management and mitigation strategies;
  • Monitors the implementation of actions taken to mitigate risks, as listed in the safety action plan;
  • Provides periodic routine reports and analyses on occurrences, and reports on safety performance;
  • Ensures maintenance of safety management documentation and promulgation throughout Alliance Executive Jets
  • Ensures that there is safety management training available and that it meets acceptable standards;
  • Provides advice on safety matters;
  • Develops and maintains the Occurrence Reporting Programme;

  • Coordinates accident and incident investigations, participates, in case of a major accident, in an ICAO Annex 13 investigation and:
    • Gives regular feedback to the Accountable Manager about the progress of the investigation;
    • Prepares investigation reports, ensures feedback to applicable departments and management;
    • Issues to responsible departments recommendations as a result of the investigation; 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree Level of Education or professional qualification equivalent.
  • Lead Auditor Qualification
  • Knowledge of Human Factors In Aviation

Minimum Experience:

  • 5+ years of current working experience in the aviation industry at supervisory or managerial level with exposure to operations and continuing airworthiness disciplines of which
  • 1+ years of experience as a lead auditor in the aviation industry and
  • 1+ years in a similar role
